Hey, it’s me again- I’ll try to give as many details as I can...

My husband is doing another round at 110% this time (he cheated and was not focused his first time). Anyway, he is only doing three weeks because he is preparing for a trip. With that said, we have a 6 week supply of hcg, so at the last minute I decided to join him for my final round. I was not committed 110% over the holidays and my weight toggled back and forth from about 179-181 (my goal is about 155)

When I did this the first time in October I remember feeling icky the first week, but NOT like this. I keep telling my husband I feel like I am going through the first trimester of pregnancy (not possible, so that’s not it). I am nauseous, dizzy, short of breath, EXTREME fatigue- BUT I can NOT sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time (I wake in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep), WEAK SORE…SORE muscles, so bad I have to stop at the middle of the stairs, sit for a minute to rest, and then finish going up. I can barely blow dry my hair and feel like I am going to pass out when I taking a shower.  I cannot pick up my 4 year old, and trying to prepare meals has been awful because I can barely stand for more than a few minutes. I am NOT hungry and feel sick even thinking about food, BUT I am forcing myself to eat because I know I need to and am hopeful that I will feel better after eating- NOPE! I expect the detox process during this first week to be bad, but this is really crazy!

I just finished my dinner and I almost vomited and that was what drove me to post. Hubby and I are taking the same hcg and eating the same foods and he is doing great. Do you think I am getting closer to my healthy weight and should increase calories??? I don’t know what to do. I really want to continue and get through p3 so I can make sure to set weight properly. As much as I love the quick weight loss during this round; I am already down 11 lbs in 6 days… I think that is faster than my first round, I don’t know if my body can handle it???

What are your thoughts? I am miserable…Oh and I am taking same supplements as the first round, so I don’t think it is that?

Start Weight (3/1): 181 lbs
Current weight (3/6):  170 lbs

Thanks  Wink

This is almost exactally what happened to me a few days ago, so I thought I would tell you what I did. The first day of extreme weakness/dizzyness I stayed on the current diet, but increased my HCG. The same feelings continued for the next day and I really felt that I was doing my family no good. I cheated. Just a little. I felt that maybe it was either a blood sugar or a psycological battle and I needed to give in to make myself better. I felt better almost right away. On the 3rd day, I had gained 2 pounds as a side effect of my cheating, but felt no hunger, dizzyness or weakness. I have not had those feelings again, and it has been a couple days of following the protocal. The downside is that I had stalled and did not release those 2 pounds for 2 days, but today, I had lost 5 pounds.

I havent yet decided if it was psycological or an actual medical issue. I just know that this is what I did, and I am happy with my results. I also have wondered if I needed a higher dose of HCG from the begining because I was hungry and the weakness was my body telling me so.

Thanks rollergirl!

I must say… it’s a miracle, PRAISE GOD!!!! Finally after 6 days of feeling like garbage, I woke up feeling normal this morning. I am getting ready to go grocery shopping without wanting to pass out… woo-hoo! It is amazing how we take those little things for granted. Last week, I didn’t even feel like taking my kids to school!

So yesterday, I had an extra serving of fruit and a tbs of natural peanut butter with them. I didn’t want to stray from the protocol too much because I knew it would have to pass eventually, but I needed some extra calories and fat that didn’t make me gag! I was ready for a gain this morning, but lost .2lbs. Hey I am NOT complaining.

I am back to my normal routine this morning, and will keep you posted!

Thanks for your prayers!

By the way, the best remedy for nausea by far, IMHO, is GINGER!!!
http://astore.amazon.com/hc08-20/detail/B0001VVD04

Also, if you are experiencing muscle soreness or cramps, especially in the legs, it has been found by many clients that Potassium supplementation is most helpful in P2:
http://astore.amazon.com/hc08-20/detail/B000MGWG8Q

You will want to be careful not to push too hard during P2 as your body is undergoing major changes rapidly and requires your energy to deal with that.  Be sure to pamper yourself, making the Protocol a priority, and if you don't feel well, cut yourself lots of slack!  Rest.  Relax.  Pray.
I am praying you are going to fine from now on!

Sounds to me that u were protein deficient, next time that happens just eat an extra 100 grams of protein. I had that problem also but I lost 1 lbs after taking the extra protein.

Protein deficiency is a good possibility.
Also, Simeons talks about low blood sugar here:
http://hcgcoach.com/SimeonsProtocol.shtml#Sugar
He describes symptoms that sound similar to this situation.  The remedy described is 2 teaspoons of sugar.  If it is NOT hypoglycemia, though, there will be a gain resulting.  If it IS, there will not, and it usually doesn't happen again.

Thanks for all the feedback. I usually detox pretty hard whenever I do cleanses, so I shouldn’t have been so surprised. I think the nausea was what really threw me off.
I have been fine ever since last weekend. Of course there’s the occasional light headedness when I stand up too quickly, but other than that just the normal hcg symptoms. I am crabby and a little melancholy and wish I was on a deserted island away from all children and men- ha ha!! But I am almost done and ready for P3! About 15 lbs away from my goal- back in October when I first started the program, I never imagined how it’d actually feel to be the same weight I was on my wedding day! Pretty freaking COOL!!!   Grin

love and blessings,
